swept into Ray's mind-boggling history. Later, Ray would fall into the guardianship of Joseph Sweiz, her Physics teacher and one of the links to her deviated past.

During her later teenage years, Ray finds herself tormented by alternate personas of herself that seem to represent her Hybrid nature with Nero as the more demonic side and Niveus as the voice of reason. Somehow their appearance coincides with the shadows that have begun to hunt her, one no other than her father himself, Damien. He sends his elite team, the Royal Family after her with the intent to test and torture her. Why does he hunt her? Who are Nero and Niveus truly? What connection does Joseph have to her past? And who are the invisible hands that continue to support her in the alleys? All of it lies in Ray's fragmented memories.

Light of the Shadowed Mansion
Light of the Shadowed Mansion is the second in The NightWalker and Hybrid series.

The story follows Clara Fayth, a young woman who suddenly lost her parents to murder by a mysterious individual. She
blacked out before she found out what really happened. Once she awoke, she found herself in the care of a stranger who seemed to genuinely care about her well-being. However, her trauma left her distrustful. Persuaded by the mysterious man known as Vandal Walker, Clara decides to accept his offer to stay in his mansion until she is well enough to live on her own. Since she was still just a teenager in high school, she had no choice but to accept. While grateful for
Walker's help, she kept a wary distance nonetheless,
suspicious as to why a stranger would want to help her. It
didn't make sense why such an affluent figure such as
Walker would want to do with a girl like her.

Eventually she would slowly begin to allow herself to get
comfortable. Clara was first befriended by Sky Lestat, one of
Walker's servants. His cheerful and enthusiastic nature made
them quick friends. Clara would later befriend Agatha Stern,
though it was quite a while before the cold and distant
woman even came close to accepting her.

Still with hopes of paying Walker back and being on her way
to getting her life back together, Clara ended up taking a job
as one of Walker's servants but this time with a more
cheerful outlook. She becomes more and more like herself as
the years went by. However, not all is what it seems. Under the pretense of peace, there is something that is kept hidden from her, resting in the very center of the mansion itself. As little bits begin to unfold, Clara finds herself caught in a dark shadow. Who exactly is Vandal Walker?
The NightWalker and Hybrid
The NightWalker and Hybrid is the third in The NightWalker and Hybrid series and is told alongside Redemption and the Fallen Angel.

The story begins when Joseph introduces Ray to Walker. Instantly suspicious of him, Ray displays strong hostility, which was the start to their rocky relationship. Somehow drawn to him, she reacts violently as if she believed he was trying to lure and deceive her. What Ray did not know was that Walker also felt that strange tug at his being towards the unstable Hybrid young woman. Unbeknownst to the both of them however, there was something deep that connected them both together, stemming centuries past. Once a common ground was established, the both of them were able to discuss what mattered greatly to the both of them: A past that connected the both of them since the beginning. As they began to delve into the history of their ancestors, more of their connection was revealed and an inexplicable bond began to form. Peace is cut short when a familiar face threatens to destroy all they know.
Redemption and the Fallen Angel
Redemption and the Fallen Angel is the fourth of The NightWalker and Hybrid series.

Redemption and the Fallen Angel is the prequel to The NightWalker and Hybrid universe. It takes the stories of Ray and Walker's ancestors and the legacy these great men and women left for them both.

The story begins with Sun Valkyres and Damien, searching for a lost Vampiric child, the young Vandal Walker. They find him in a small village and Sun takes him back to her care. Vandal tags along with them in their search for the Vampire children that left the orphanage Sun devotedly looked after. During their journey, they come upon a young woman by the name of Valerie, claiming that Vandal is her child and that she had left him in Sun's care due to the fact that she had no means to care for him. Tailing Valerie close by is Vladimir Walker who had taken a keen interest in Valerie despite not realizing that he had a previous encounter with her. Valerie revealed to both her apparent
stalker and Sun that Vladimir is in fact the father of Vandal. Though highly suspicious and distrustful of Vladimir, Sun agrees to give Vandal over to Valerie and Vladimir, trusting in Valerie mostly to rear her own child. Though they parted from there, it was the beginning of a long and unbreakable friendship.

Confused and reluctant, Vladimir tries to fill in the role that he had never the intention of ever taking. He takes his "family" to France where he reunites with his brother, Jack Walker and Jack's best friend, Jonathan Warrior. Though Vladimir had or wanted no affiliation with the peaceful organization his brother founded,
"Guide," nonetheless, it was a starting place to where Valerie
and Vandal could be kept safe. Besides that, Valerie,
unexpectedly, seemed to have known Jack before which made
it all the more convenient.

"Guide" was the center and beginning of a movement towards
coexistence between vampires and humans. It acted also as a
light for vampires who had lost their way, drowned in the
indulgences of their instincts. Valerie and Vladimir joined this
movement and it was in this environment that Vandal began to form strong ideals and morals.

Races
Sorcerers

Sorcerers are one of the most ancient races. Blessed with the gift of nature, they bend and manipulate its Elements through the use of symbols and incantations. In direct opposition of Demons, for centuries, these two races have battled for possession of the Earth. A timeless battle, meant to rage for all eternity.

Sorcerers are known for their fair beauty, akin to elves in Human folklore. They appear ageless and live on for centuries on end. Normally they are very gentle, nature-
Demons are varied in their appearances. Some can appear to be a mix of different creatures or gruesome monsters. Others adopt of more humanoid look that often take a very sensuous appearance. Demons are complete opposites of Sorcerers. They thrive on destruction and chaos. Their very nature thirsts for blood and pleasure. With no morals, no rules, no obligations, the Demons live on one single principle: "Only the strong survive." Death reigns in the Demon Realm and with survival as the key to strength, they have no use for the petty feelings and chivalry that Sorcerers possess.

Demons live in an alternate dimension known as the "Underworld," "Netherworld," or "Demon Realm." It is a realm completely ruled by the forces of chaos. Entropy rules even in the very ragged and wild environment of the Demon World. With a constant struggle for power, many kingdoms are born, all fighting for the title of King of the Demon Realm, which has exclusively belonged to Tenebres, the Kingdom of Darkness, for ages. Damien is currently the reigning King of the Underworld.
appearance is often as such. Due to the mix in heritage, when it comes to temperament and values, Vampires are more like Humans in that they can be either righteous as Sorcerers or destructive like Demons. Though, with their near-insatiable taste for blood and pleasure, many often find it difficult to live or even want to live a moral life.

Vampires thrive in the dark alleys of the Human World since they were banished and disowned from both sides of the world. Unbeknownst to the humans, many dark societies and some peaceful organizations were built such as Guide or Redemption. A well-known and frequently visited community by the Vampires is The Black Market, which deals in underground dealings that cater mostly to the Vampires.
Concepts
Cosmos

The Cosmos is an undiscriminating force that is responsible for the creation of the universe itself. Within its heart lies the complete balance of Light and Darkness, which is essential in keeping the universe continuing for all eternity. Some would call this "Cosmos," a deity. Whether it is just an act of nature or an actual spiritual force, none could tell. It lies even as a mystery to the Sorcerers, who are known to be the closest to the origin of the world.
Darkness

Darkness is the source of chaos and yet essential for the balance of the world. Unlike other Elements, the power of Darkness is very selective to who can wield it. In essence, it has a mind of its own, driven in its primal instinct to consume, destroy, violate. It is the purest form of chaos and can only be ruled by the one it deems its master.

Its form is intangible, moving in the form of Shadows but like how the fears of a person can easily take a physical form in their eyes, so does Darkness take a more solid form in the wake of the dark feelings surrounding it. It can mimic the form of an existing person to deceive the opponent, toy with their minds and feelings with a seemingly exact replica. Darkness can instill fear, bring nightmares to life and with its contradictory ability to take solid form--can take the form of weapons or any other object and inflict damage that seeps deep into the psyche.

It is not easy to wield the power of Darkness for the essence of chaos often toys with the user itself. It acts like a great temptation, urging the user to give up their will and fall into indulgence of chaos and death. Those who wield it often find themselves questioning their sanity and often adopt a hidden desire to become Darkness itself.

At the moment, only those belonging to Ray and Walker's family line are able to harness this power.
Elements

Elements are the very essence of nature that can be used to change the very landscape. They can be harnessed in an offensive or defensive way depending on the user.

The main Elements consist of Fire, Ice, Wind, Water, Lightning, Light and Earth.

In the Sorcerer's Keep, there is a specific faction called the Elementalists, those who specify solely in one Element to a masterful level.

Non-Elements

Non-Elements are typically considered neutral abilities that are not manipulated in a way that Elements are.

Some examples of Non-Elements are Time, Gravity, Barriers, Sound, Clairvoyance, etc...

Most of these are not directly associated with the nature that Elements are typically affiliated with. Some of these abilities can be extremely rare and are usually only found in a few individuals who happened to be born with them. Some of these cannot be learned or cast.

The Valkyres family line as well as the line leading to the Walkers is, for example, typically well-known for their gift of Clairvoyance, which is passed down each generation.
Meanwhile, Sun and Damien made their way to Italy where Sun hoped to negotiate with Vatican with the intent of promoting coexistence as well. She kept in close contact with Valerie through mail. Hearing of Sun's work, Jack decided to make a trip to Italy as well where he and Sun quickly became close friends and ardent defenders to their ideals. Here they also met the founder of the Italian coexistence movement, "Redemption", by the name of Leo Smith. Though such alliances were made,
there were many who resisted every attempt at coexistence, vampire and human alike. With so many enemies and so few allies, the members of the movement are constantly in the midst of battle, quite often, to the brink of their very lives. With so much blood shed and so many lives lost...what light left were they fighting for?
Vampiric Blood

In the Ancient Vampiric language and society, a hierarchy was formed based on the type of blood a Vampire possessed.

Validus: Vampires born directly from the union of a Demon and a Sorcerer.

Myriads: Humans that were turned into Vampires.

Royals: Vampires that are notably more Demonic in nature with the special ability to transform into Demons.

Ethereals: Vampires that possess more Sorcerer attributes with special abilities such as being able to withstand the sunlight or are immune to holy relics.

Infirmus: Humans whose transformations that have gone wrong. They lose all reasoning and become purely creatures of instinct.

However, as the years went on and coexistence became more and more acceptable within the Vampiric race, other types of Vampires were born. The system of hierarchy would later be scrapped.

lovers and peacemakers until provoked. Raised with high moral standards, they are often rigid in their rule and prone to traditional methods. However, they are known for their compassion nevertheless and are seen as Godlike in the eyes of the Humans whom they protect.

Sorcerers live in an alternate dimension known as the Sorcerer's Keep which is situated within a sphere created entirely out of the Sorcery Elements of nature. Ruled by the one they call the "Elder," sorcerers live a quiet and peaceful life. Despite its quiet outlook, its military force is on par with the Demons. The Sorcerers are well adept in combat, well-versed in all areas including Sorcery. However, what ails them are their small numbers. Sorcerers don't typically have many children since they prefer to raise and care for one or two with utmost attention.
Demons

Demons are one of the most ancient races. They reside in the opposite spectrum of the Sorcerers as rulers of chaos and destruction. Like Sorcerers, their Demon Lore requires the use of incantations and symbols, a level on par with them. For centuries they have been on the winning side of the war for possession of the Earth. That was until something unexpected happened that brought the war to a stalemate.

Vampires

Vampires were born from the corrupted union of Sorcerers and Demons. They are Hybrids of a nature possessing both extremes, yet orphaned by both sides. In terms of abilities, it ranges but they typically specialize in a single Element or special ability. They do not require the use of symbols or incantations since it comes naturally to them. They are born with their specialization.

Vampires typically have pale skin due to their inability to take the sunlight due to their partly demonic nature. They easily blend in with regular humans since their
